Clinical Improvement and Prevention Network Specialist

Description:
Network in support of organizational quality goals. Provides expert consultation, coaching and training in the application of clinical tools used to improve population and service outcomes. Partners with the District Medical Directors and Administrators with provider service teams to advise and execute on tactics specific to the contracted Network. Conducts data analysis, literature and best practice reviews and identifies opportunities to apply learnings for improvement in clinical practice. Will identify gaps and provide expert consultation to contracted Network Leadership team regarding where to focus improvement efforts.
 
Qualifications
 
Education
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Preferred Education
Master's degree in Nursing or related health care field.

Knowledge/Skills
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Intermediate Demonstrated leadership ability, Critical thinking and analytical skills. Experience in chronic, acute and preventive healthcare environments.Knowledge of quality improvement methodologyProject management and facilitation skills.Ability to understand and interpret clinical performance data.Excellent verbal and written communication.Excellent computer skills., including use of EMR (Epic). Knowledge and experience working with various provider groups and methods utilizing pay for performance.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Intermediate Knowledge of lean principles and application to clinical improvement.Proficiency in use of EMR, specifically Epic.
Experience
Minimum Experience Requirements
5 years Five years experience in a health care setting including non-acute and three years working in and leading quality imrpovement work.

Preferred Experience
Other Experience Prior nursing or other management experience.
License/Certifications
Minimum License/Certifications Requirements
For RN, Washington State license

Preferred License/Certifications
None Required
