Whitman Hospital and Medical
Center is currently seeking a Registered Nurse with
management experience to join our team. This Full-time Nurse
Manager position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations
of a 25 bed Medical Surgical Unit and 8 bed Emergency Department
that includes 2 trauma bays. This position requires someone
who is a team player with strong clinical and managerial
experience. As a Nurse Manager, you will ensure
comprehensive care and treatment is rendered to our patients. As a
key member of the Nursing Leadership Team responsibilities include
supervising, planning, organizing, directing and coordinating,
patient care in this busy, dynamic Critical Access Hospital.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for efficient day-to-day
operations of the departments and optimum use of resources to
maximize productivity and minimize costs while maintaining high
quality, safe patient care.
Qualifications
include: BSN or B.A./B.S. equivalent and licensed in the State
of Washington with a minimum of five (5) years nursing experience
and at least two (2) years demonstrated nursing
management/supervisory experience.
